I arrived at the Hacienda for an eight night stay on the 8th of August. Jim checked me in and directed me to the room. Now, I have stayed in many resorts in Palm Springs and was blown away by the elegance of the place. The suites were equipped with L’Occitane bath products. The shower had multiple heads, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I appreciated that the house-keeping staff always replaced the pool towels daily and bottles of water were replenished. One of my favorite things was the Keurig coffee maker with individual coffee pods. I enjoyed getting very early to have my coffee in the jacuzzi to watch the sun illuminate the San Jacinto mountains; and a cup of coffee that I could actually drink from a hotel room was immensely satisfying.
The resort was immaculate and one thing I noticed was how often the pool maintenance guy came by to service/test the water of the jacuzzi and pools. Three or four times during my stay. Impressive. The thing I will remember most about the Hacienda will be the staff. Everyone knew me and addressed me by my first name. All the employees were extremely professional, courteous and helpful. The owners, Jim and Maurice took time to get to know each guest and were genuinely concerned about how they could do better. Do better! After staying here, anyone will be challenged to find an act like this. When I return to Palm Springs my first and only stop will be the Hacienda. Bravo guys!!
